COVID-19 UPDATES

We are running participants in person! We follow all guidelines recommended by the CDC, Virginia government, and UVA. Please see below for all protocols in place:

  • All lab members are fully vaccinated.

  • All visitors will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms before entering the lab space.

  • Lab members will wear a face covering when with families, upon request.

  • Face covering is optional for visitors. 

  • Lab members and visitors are encouraged to wash hands and use hand sanitizer frequently.

  • All surfaces, toys, and other study materials are disinfected between participants.

  • Each room is equipped with a HEPA air purifier capable of completely filtering the air approximately every 12 minutes.

From Main Street (The Corner):

  1. Drive towards Emmet St. South, passing by the Bodo’s Bagels and Bank of America on your right.

  2. Turn Left onto Emmet St. S/ US-29.

  3. Turn right onto Jefferson Park Avenue (turns into US-29 BUS S).

  4. Turn left onto Ray C. Hunt Drive.

  5. After entering Fontaine Research Park, take a left turn.

  6. Go straight through the first stop sign. 

  7. Building 560 and the parking lot is directly to your left. 

  8. Parking: Please park in the Visitor Parking directly outside 560 Ray C Hunt Dr. A research assistant will meet you directly outside.

From Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport/Forest Lakes (29S/250W):

  1. Take 29 South

  2. Pass by Raising Cane’s Chicken on the right and use the right 2 lanes to merge onto US-250W/US-29S

  3. Take the exit toward US-29 BUS N/Fontaine Ave.

  4. Turn left onto US-29 BUS N/Fontaine Ave.

  5. Use the right turn lane to turn right onto Ray C. Hunt Drive

  6. After entering Fontaine Research Park, take a left turn.

  7. Go straight through the first stop sign. 

  8. Building 560 and the parking lot is directly to your left. 

  9. Parking: Please park in the Visitor Parking directly outside 560 Ray C Hunt Dr. A research assistant will meet you directly outside.

From Pantops (250E/64W):

  1. Take 250E to I-64W

  2. Merge onto I-64W

  3. Take exit 118B for US-29 N

  4. Take the first exit for US-29 BUS N/Fontaine Ave.

  5. Use the right turn lane to turn right onto Ray C. Hunt Drive

  6. After entering Fontaine Research Park, take a left turn.

  7. Go straight through the first stop sign. 

  8. Building 560 and the parking lot is directly to your left. 

  9. Parking: Please park in the Visitor Parking directly outside 560 Ray C Hunt Dr. A research assistant will meet you directly outside.
